Under administrative direction, the Clerk is a generalist and working leader that expertly performs duties which may be comprised of the following: administration of City Council business, records management, liquor licensing, business licensing, payroll and gaming device management.

The qualified applicant will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or a related field from an accredited college or university, hold Certified Municipal Clerk status, and have 5 years of experience in government, preferably Town/City Clerk; an equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
Requirements: must possess or obtain Notary Public Commission within 6 months of hire; must possess a valid Colorado Driver's License or obtain one within 30 days of hire; and must be at least 21 years old.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held in the previous 3 years.
