The typical candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in public administration from an accredited college or university, along with extensively responsible administrative experience in the planning, coordination, and financing of varied municipal activities; a Master’s degree is highly desirable. Experience as a City Manager or Assistant City Manager having worked with elected officials is highly desired. Any combination of education, training, and experience that could likely provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be qualifying.
