CITY MANAGER, City of St. Marys, Georgia (population 17,000) is seeking an experienced, forward thinking and motivated professional for City Manager. The City Manager reports to a Mayor and six-member City Council. Annual operating budget of $29.2 million, including $13.1 million allocated to the General Fund.

A bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Management (or related) is required, along with ten+ years experience in local government; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities for this position. MPA/MBA preferred. Candidates must be familiar with all phases of municipal government and should possess demonstrated management and leadership skills, excellent communication skills, high integrity, and the ability to promote and lead excellence in City services. ICMA Credentialed Manager preferred.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The salary range is $100K - $140K, depending upon experience and qualifications; excellent health/dental employee and dependent benefits; and retirement.
