Position: BUSINESS AND COMMUNITY AGREEMENTS MANAGER
Salary: $88,470 Annually
Department: Water Utilities/Finance and Administration
Location: 8100 Forest Hill Boulevard, WPB
Hours: 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., Monday – Friday, evenings and weekends as required/necessary
Other: THIS IS AN AT-WILL POSITION.
This position requires considerable independent judgment and decision-making in developing and managing numerous complex County agreements with other agencies, including governmental entities. Specific duties include: Developing both contractual and non-standard agreements; coordinating, reviewing, and administering agreements between the County and other governmental agencies; presenting to governing authorities/constituents; and participating in agreement negotiations. Additional responsibilities include identifying applicable laws, researching authority to enter into agreements, as well as coordinating with the Finance and Administration Division and other County departments. Work is reviewed through program effectiveness, conferences, and written reports.
Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business/Public Administration; minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in negotiating, drafting, and/or administering government contracts.
PREFERENCE FOR:Licensed Attorney; experience in negotiating and documenting governmental business transactions; local government experience in the State of Florida; writing policy and agenda items for governmental agencies.
