The Human Resources Director is responsible for the management and oversight of the Colorado Judicial Department’s personnel system and programs and provides strategic leadership for the Division of Human Resources including employee relations, training and leadership development, compensation/total rewards, performance management, recruitment and retention, HR data, and payroll. With an approximate budget of $2.8 million and a staff of 24, the HR team provides advisory human resources services to the Judicial Branch including 22 judicial districts across the state.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in judicial, public, or business administration; sociology; psychology; human resources development; or a closely related field AND a minimum of six years of professional, administrative, supervisory, or management experience in a complex human resources organization. A master’s degree is preferred, as is three years of demonstrated executive level leadership experience.
