Boulder County's Department of Housing and Human Services (BCDHHS) is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Director, Housing Administration. Under the direction of the BCDHHS Director, the Deputy Director Housing Administration oversees all aspects of Housing and Housing Administration of a large and complex Department, which includes a collaborative approach to Housing throughout Boulder County including the Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA.) The current BCHA portfolio includes 800+ units, 70 additional units under construction, and 900+ vouchers. Overall, DHHS has a staff of approximately 500.
Overall, BCDHHS has a staff of approximately 500. The Deputy Director of Housing Administration plans, organizes, directs, and implements all aspects of Boulder County’s housing initiatives including the preservation of housing affordability, regulatory processes for the different communities in the County, facilitation of the County’s regional goal pertaining to affordable housing, and the expansion and access to Diverse Housing in Boulder County. The Deputy Director is responsible for ensuring strong Housing programmatic and financial linkages in the department, throughout the community, and at all levels of government. The Deputy Director of Housing Administration will represent BCDHHS through participation in various state-level, inter-county committees, and local housing partnerships. This position will serve as the Administrative Lead on all aspects of Housing for the Department and is considered as a highly valued member of the Executive Leadership Team.
