Seeking a diverse candidate pool for this key new role to create and advance DEI performance measures and community engagement for a $100 million city government, multiple utility provider and municipally owned golf course with 330+ full-time employees.
Successful candidate must have graduated from an appropriately accredited college or university and 3-5 years DEI experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered such as DEI certification.
Work experience in government to include city, county and/or state; multilinguist.
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with qualifications, plus excellent benefits including acceptance of qualified transferred sick leave from other NC governmental entities and leave accrual rates based upon approved aggregate years of NC government qualified service. Expected hiring range
$55,000 - $90,000, with hiring rate dependent on experience and qualifications.
