The City of Gainesville is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to recommend and implement innovative system and process changes to improve organizational efficiency and responsiveness. Key to success will be the candidate’s ability to effectively plan, develop, and implement human resources initiatives that focus on building a diverse and inclusive workforce that will support the city’s strategic goals. To lead the Department of Human Resources the candidate must: • Executive level Human Resources leadership experience is highly preferred • Serve as a visionary for both general government and utilities leadership• Exhibit a desire to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across a large and diverse organ
