The City of Fargo, ND is excited to announce we are seeking a Director of Facilities Management. This full-time position oversees the maintenance of city owned facilities including buildings and properties.

The Director of Facilities Management is responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management Department and manages a centralized facility management function while interacting with departments of the City to determine current and long-term needs. The job provides supervision to a team of 15 Maintenance Attendants. The director reports to the City Administrator.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $101,504 to $131,955. Excellent benefit package to include a defined benefit pension plan.

The job requires a bachelor’s degree in facilities management or related field and 10 years of specialized training in building construction, mechanical and/or electrical trades including three years of supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. A valid Class “D” driver’s license is required.

Fargo City Hall is located at 225 4th Street North in downtown Fargo; business hours are 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
