The Assistant City Manager, under general direction of the City Manager, serves as the operations officer for the City working closely with the City Manager and Department Heads in implementing City Council policy directives. An individual with who can interpret and apply Federal, State, and local policies, laws and regulations will succeed. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in public administration, business administration, or a closely related field and must have six (6) years of increasingly responsible experience in administrative management. Experience in overseeing administrative functions and a master’s degree is highly desirable.
