ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER
Under the direction of the City Manager, this employee provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of city operations. The management portfolio of the Assistant City Manager is assigned by the City Manager and may include any combination of internal and external administrative or operational responsibilities to include but not limited to, public works, transportation, economic development, water and sewer utilities, citizen’s complaint authority, planning, budget, finance, and human resources. This employee also provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of intake, processing, and resolution of constituent inquiries regarding city operations and requests or inquiries from members of council.
