The nationally recognized Department of Community Planning, Housing and Development (CPHD) is seeking a visionary and results-oriented Director to fulfill its mission to promote the improvement, conservation, and revitalization of Arlington's physical and social environment. This senior level position offers the opportunity to contribute to the County's growth and development in a nationally recognized Smart Growth Community.The director will lead and work with a team of experienced, creative, and passionate staff while building a sustainable, desirable community. This Department Director is appointed by the County Manager and serves on the executive leadership team providing leadership to the County's strategic urban planning and development efforts.
