An opportunity to lead a new department!! The City of San Leandro is a well-established community of approximately 90,000 residents and one of the Bay Area's most diverse cities. The Recreation and Parks Department was recently established to bring together recreation programs with park/urban landscape maintenance from other City Departments. The Department’s FY 2023-24 budget totals $18.2 million and is supported by 26 full-time staff members and additional part-time/seasonal staff (35 FTE).
