About the Department The Department of Information Technology (DIT) supports business operations with cutting-edge enterprise services, including data solutions, broadband support, communication systems, and more. DIT ensures seamless 24/7 service delivery to county departments, public safety agencies, and the broader community. The department is a full-service IT department supporting over 5,000 employees and approximately 2,000 volunteers.   Budget: Approximately $70 million for FY 2025 Staff: 118 Full-Time Equivalents, including direct reports such as a Deputy Director, two Assistant Directors, a Business Manager, and a Chief Information Security Officer
