The City of Santa Clara is “The Data Center Capital of the West” in the center of the Silicon Valley. As a community-owned, not for profit municipal electric utility, Silicon Valley Power (SVP) provides electricity service to over 57,000 residential and business customers, including more than 50 data centers. This Assistant Director of Electric Utility position was approved for a five-year limited term to oversee large system expansion projects totaling $420 million.  The ideal candidate will have a history of impressive capital project management and the proven ability to provide high-level oversight to a multitude of projects simultaneously. Experience in power utilities is not required; however, the size and importance of the system expansion capital projects warrant exception
