The East Bay Regional Park District, located on the eastern side of San Francisco Bay, encompasses a diverse portfolio of parks across 125,000 acres, serving Alameda and Contra Costa counties, including 33 urban cities. The Park District is governed by a seven-member elected Board of Directors representing 2.8 million residents with a $317.8 million budget and 902.75 full-time employees and 300 seasonal staff. Reporting to the General Manager, the Assistant General Manager – Human Resources oversees a $19.7 million budget and is supported by a team of 28.75 FTE employees and is responsible for employee labor relations, recruitment and classification, job training, career development, and performance management.
