The Town of Lakeside is seeking an experienced public safety professional to serve as its next Chief of Police. Nestled in Jefferson County just minutes from the bustling City of Denver, the Town of Lakeside is a small but historically rich community covering just one square mile. With fewer than 20 residents, Lakeside is the least-populated municipality in Colorado. Despite its size, its unique charm lies in its namesake lake, Lake Rhoda, and the historic Lakeside Amusement Park, a beloved regional attraction that has drawn visitors since its opening in 1908. The Lakeside Police Department operates with a team of 20 public safety professionals, 18 of which are full-time or part-time officers, working out of three divisions: Administration, Operations and Records.
