The City of Elk Grove is now accepting applications for the position of
ANIMAL CARE ASSISTANT (TEMPORARY)
The City of Elk Grove Police Department has two immediate openings for the position of part-time, temporary position of Animal Care Assistant to support the City's animal shelter team. The ideal candidate is a person who loves animals and has previous experience working with a variety of types and sizes. These positions are at-will and provide extra help on an as-needed basis to the animal shelter as well as assisting families with adopting a cat or kitten at our PetSmart Adoption Center location. The ideal applicant will have a great work ethic and enjoy working with a supportive team.
The positions are at-will, work up to 20 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends, and do not receive benefits beyond those required by law.
