We’re looking for an exceptional and collaborative leader who is:

Perryton is a tight-knit, family-oriented community of approximately 8,500 residents located in the northern Texas Panhandle near the Oklahoma border. The Perryton Fire Department is a city-operated department serving all of Ochiltree County. With a strong emphasis on brush fire response, the department supports both paid and volunteer firefighters.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
High school diploma or GED
5+ years of fire service experience
Certified Firefighter and First Responder
Texas driver’s license with appropriate fire truck designation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
Experience in oil/gas industry fire response
Familiarity with small-town emergency operations
The City of Perryton offers a salary range of $80,000 - $85,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
