Purpose: Under the guidance of an Assistant City Manager, this position is responsible for the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of Citywide library services.   Duties, Functions and Responsibilities: Essential duties and functions, pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include the following. Other related duties may be assigned. Responsible for strategic and business planning, ensuring consistency with principles of a Library of the Future. Develops and implements of short- and long-term goals, objectives, strategies, and policies. Oversees department budget preparation and administration. Represents the Library before
