The City of Santa Fe is looking for a technically skilled and service-minded professional to serve as its next Engineer Supervisor within the Complete Streets Division of the Public Works Department. This leadership role is responsible for supervising a team of engineers and technical staff who plan, design, and deliver infrastructure projects that improve public safety, mobility, and sustainability throughout the city.
The Engineer Supervisor manages a wide variety of engineering programs—from traffic operations and development review to drainage systems and capital improvements. This position plays a critical role in cross-departmental collaboration and serves as a liaison between the City, community members, and regulatory agencies.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and calm problem-solver with a strong foundation in civil, drainage, or traffic engineering. They are a confident communicator who can effectively engage the public and elected officials while mentoring staff and managing complex infrastructure projects.
