We’re looking for an exceptional manager who is:
Skilled in facilities operations, construction, and maintenance
Experienced in budget oversight and capital planning

Port St. Lucie is located along Florida’s Treasure Coast between Orlando and Miami. Port St. Lucie offers easy access to I-95, Florida’s Turnpike, pristine beaches, championship golf, and the iconic St. Lucie River.
The Facilities Maintenance Division provides comprehensive maintenance, repair, and operational oversight for all City-owned buildings and infrastructure. The new Facilities Maintenance Director will report to the City Manager or designee.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced facilities management professional with deep knowledge of building systems, maintenance operations, sustainability, and construction project oversight.
Required qualifications include:
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field
Ten (10) years of progressively responsible facilities management experience
At least three (3) years supervising middle-management staff
Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record
Preferred qualifications include:
Experience in local government facilities management
Advanced experience in capital projects or construction oversight
Familiarity with CMMS systems and sustainability frameworks
